📋 Description

• Conduct weekly service visits to assigned farms, with visits at least bi-weekly (every 10 days) and additional check-ins as needed • Collect extensive on-site data, including feed and water consumption, bird weight, case weights, and ammonia readings • Submit production report data in Excel-based files, including notes and photographs as appropriate • Coordinate feed ordering from HBF’s designated mill, including reporting quality failures and managing consumption • Review data and feed weekly with Live Operations, Compliance, and Feed Department Leads • Set weekly visitation schedules using Google Calendar • Oversee biosecurity, organic, and pasture-raised compliance at serviced farms • Give verbal warnings, draft non-compliance warning letters, and develop and enforce follow-up plans • Attend training offerings • Provide onboarding support for new producers and ensure barn construction matches AHA or HFAC requirements • Ensure organic certification preparations meet expectations • Attend new populations, repopulations, and depopulations for hens • Support on-farm compliance activities, such as audits, as needed • Perform other duties as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working with poultry (preferably layers) or on farms • Experience with Excel, Dropbox, and Gmail • Highly organized • Ability to effectively manage time; self-discipline is a must • Quick problem-solving skills • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Team player with a positive attitude and collaborative approach to work • High degree of initiative • Knowledge of animal welfare standards and biosecurity • Knowledge of state/federal agriculture/farming regulations and standards
