📋 Description

• Fabricate orthotic and/or prosthetic devices according to Company quality and quantity standards • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials • Follow work instructions for each device in the work area • Assist with ordering, receiving, and other inventory tasks as assigned • Maintain 5S standards for a safe, clean, and orderly work environment • Adhere to safety regulations and OSHA requirements • Complete HIPAA and other regulatory compliance training issued by Hanger, Inc. • Participate in on-the-job and formal O&P training provided by leadership

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; no experience required • Alternatively, without diploma/GED, 1 year of related experience in O&P environments • Preferred: less than 1 year of related experience in machinery, tools, woodworking, design, fabrication, or componentry environments • Knowledge and hand skills needed to fabricate and repair prostheses and orthoses according to specifications • Mechanical ability and hand-eye coordination to use laboratory tools safely and effectively • Effective organizational, time management, and planning skills • Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills • Ability to work effectively as a team member • Ability to acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures • Ability to act with integrity and maintain respectful relationships • Ability to focus on patient-centered outcomes and adapt to change
