📋 Description

• Lead subcontracting and sourcing efforts for assigned construction projects • Develop procurement execution strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets • Serve as the primary supply chain point of contact for assigned projects • Develop bid lists and sourcing strategies for subcontractors, suppliers, and manufacturers • Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and quantity takeoffs • Manage subcontractor and supplier prequalification and risk evaluations • Lead RFP/RFQ activities and commercial evaluations • Prepare bid tabulations and award recommendations • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders • Coordinate contract reviews with Legal and Operations • Monitor procurement of long-lead materials and equipment • Participate in project kickoff, procurement, and turnover meetings • Coordinate with Estimating, Preconstruction, Engineering, Operations, and Project Management • Develop strategic supplier and subcontractor relationships • Mentor Supply Chain Specialists • Maintain procurement reporting, trackers, and templates • Drive cost savings, risk reduction, and continuous improvement • Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in procurement, engineering, construction, estimating, or a related field • Experience supporting complex procurement activities, vendor negotiations, and subcontractor management • Strong knowledge of construction procurement and subcontract buyout • Understanding of contracts, bonds, insurance, logistics, and freight • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications • Experience preparing bid tabulations and commercial evaluations • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills • Strong communication and leadership skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities • SPSM, CPSM, CPPP, or equivalent certification preferred • Ability to travel approximately 15%–30% as needed • Ability to visit alternate locations and perform required physical activities, including standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting/carrying/moving 10–50 pounds • Good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, and visual acuity • Must be able to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear
