📋 Description

• Own HavocAI’s financial planning processes, including annual and quarterly budgeting, long-range planning, cash flow forecasting, and monthly performance reporting. • Develop and execute financial strategies covering cash management, liquidity, capital allocation, and investment decisions. • Drive financial discipline, visibility, and fact-based decision-making across the organization. • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate strategic initiatives, investments, commercial opportunities, and major business decisions. • Develop financial models, forecasts, scenarios, and analyses supporting company strategy. • Identify financial and operational risks and opportunities and develop recommendations for leadership. • Establish reporting around financial performance, operating metrics, and organizational KPIs. • Lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews, analyzing actual results against plan and key drivers and variances. • Translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights for senior leadership. • Partner with company leaders to establish financial targets, evaluate performance, and improve accountability. • Drive and evolve company-wide KPIs. • Partner with the CFO on investor relations and progressively take ownership of the function. • Develop investor communications materials and anticipate investor questions. • Support financing and capital planning activities. • Manage and develop relationships with external financial partners, including lenders. • Lead development of scalable finance systems, processes, reporting, and operating rhythms. • Drive finance transformation initiatives and identify automation and AI opportunities. • Partner with Accounting and finance functions to connect reporting, planning, forecasting, and decision-making. • Lead and develop the Finance team; hire, coach, develop, and retain finance talent. • Build scalable structures, processes, and operating practices as HavocAI grows. • Establish accountability and foster a culture of high performance, ownership, accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. • 10+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience, including 5+ years of people leadership experience. • Demonstrated success leading finance within a high-growth technology or similarly complex organization. • Deep expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial modeling. • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to connect financial performance to underlying operational drivers. • Exceptional ability to translate complex financial information into compelling, executive-level insights and recommendations. • Demonstrated experience building and developing high-performing finance teams. • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders across an organization. • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, incomplete information, and significant organizational growth. • Strong judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work. • Entrepreneurial, hands-on leadership style with the willingness to move between strategic initiatives and detailed execution. • We can only hire US Citizens due to our specific industry and government contracts. • Eligible for a US security clearance. • Nice-to-have experience with high-growth startups or technology companies, hardware or manufacturing businesses, inventory management, cost accounting, supply-chain-related finance, SaaS or software business models, investor relations, capital raising, FP&A and financial reporting systems, and automation or AI in finance workflows.
