• Achieve/exceed monthly metrics (ex: qualified meetings/opportunities created) • Prospect, educate, qualify and develop target accounts • Respond to inbound customer leads and develop these accounts to create opportunities • Successfully manage and overcome customer objections • Ability to call within all levels of an organization and identify business needs for Hazelcast solutions • Liaise with Marketing to drive attendance to, and follow up on events such as training and conferences • Utilization of CRM and communication tools (Salesforce, Outreach) • Utilization of Internet research tools for prospecting (LinkedIn, Seamless.Ai, Zoominfo)
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience • At least, 1 year of relevant professional sales experience • Candidates should have sales development or related experience in a business-to-business environment • Industry knowledge a plus • Proven track record of success in cold calling, deal qualification, and goal achievement preferred • Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication skills, highly confident, able to work diligently and independently, and goal-oriented • Experience in speaking with a Line of Business leaders and C-level executives • Fast learner with strong technical aptitude • Must have high ethics, integrity, and humility and have the desire to be part of a rapidly growing organization • Experience in software start-up and competitive software sales environments preferred
