📋 Description

• Manage an established portfolio of public-sector customers to maintain and drive Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) sales • Prospect new accounts, retain existing accounts, and expand opportunities with current customers to meet yearly sales goals • Develop and maintain sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers • Manage sales volume with existing customers while prospecting and acquiring new customers • Develop and implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area • Share market insights and competitor information across the organization • Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs and inform sales strategies • Attend monthly business meetings, local trade shows, and regional or national activities as necessary • Travel consistently within the North Austin to Temple territory, with infrequent overnight travel • May provide general guidance or train junior-level support or professional personnel

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in the state(s) specified above (Texas); position is only open to residents in the specified state(s) • 3 or more years business-to-business (B2B) field sales experience • Experience with large volume of product lines • Organizational skills and tech-savviness • Knowledge of facilities products such as hardware, electrical, lighting, plumbing, janitorial, and HVAC product lines • Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce, or similar CRM • Experience with consultative selling/solution selling • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a remote position • Operation of a personal vehicle, consistently more than 20% of the average work week • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report required • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline and generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field, OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field • Certification is required in some areas
