📋 Description

• Identify and document opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and cost through data and process analysis and technology adoption • Support the design and implementation of new supply chain systems across a regional network of distribution centers • Align internal and external partners to drive transformative initiatives • Identify and recommend value-added net new technology, quantify value, and recommend adoption plans • Drive operational and continuous improvement while optimizing current and future distribution center processes • Generate actionable insights for data cleanup, process improvement, compliance, improved technology utilization, and new technology adoption • Gather and synthesize operational and supply chain data; identify anomalies, root causes, and action plans • Support technology utilization and adoption through data analysis, process observation, and user feedback • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party consultants on technology transformation initiatives • Provide training and problem resolution to internal and external customers • Develop decision-support tools and financial models to analyze technology solution cost/benefit tradeoffs • Collaborate with distribution center associates, management, senior leaders, and consultants on system design, implementation, and sustainability • Document business requirements, functional and system design, processes, and procedures • Perform data management through data mining, data modeling, data analysis, and/or problem analysis • Troubleshoot complex problems and make decisions under uncertainty • May oversee project and assignment completion, including planning, assigning, monitoring, reviewing progress and accuracy, and evaluating results • Contribute to employees’ professional development without hiring or firing authority • Travel overnight typically 20% to 50% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in Georgia, Texas, New Jersey, Florida, Illinois, Washington, or Pennsylvania • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred, with 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, operational design, or a related field • Experience supporting distribution center operational design, warehouse layouts, and supply chain optimization projects • Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling systems, automation, storage solutions, racking, conveyors, inventory systems, and facility design • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS); SAP preferred • Intermediate proficiency in 2D AutoCAD • Experience creating or maintaining warehouse location data and layouts • Experience managing vendor relationships, permitting, scheduling, cost negotiations, and project coordination • Understanding of hazmat storage, high-pile storage, racking calculations, and construction permitting requirements • Strong communication, collaboration, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and support cross-functional project execution, including onsite implementation • Position requires 75% travel • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline and generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field, OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field • Certification is required in some areas
