📋 Description

• Own senior and staff-level recruiting searches end to end, from intake through signed offer • Partner with Engineering leadership to define success profiles and calibrate levels • Build outbound pipelines into infrastructure, cloud, devtools, and data companies • Identify high-trajectory engineers • Present Helius’s systems challenges to prospective engineering candidates • Run a structured, high-signal interview process in Ashby • Manage the closing process, including involving founders and investors • Develop the employee referral program as a consistent hiring source • Own agency relationships and determine when in-house sourcing is preferable • Track pipeline health and stage conversion, using data to address bottlenecks • Build the talent brand through outreach, content, engineering events, and conferences • In the first 90 days, take over a database and performance engineer search, learn the engineering organization, build outbound pipelines, and audit the interview process and funnel data • Report to the VP of People and partner directly with Engineering leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years recruiting engineers • Track record of closing senior and staff-level backend, infrastructure, or systems roles • Strong sourcing instincts and an independent sourcing playbook • Technical fluency in distributed systems, databases, and performance • Startup or high-growth experience • Confidence to push back on hiring managers and drive alignment • Clear, direct communication and real follow-through • Bias for action and ownership of outcomes • Experience recruiting at an infrastructure, devtools, cloud, or trading-technology company is nice to have • Network in the Rust or systems engineering community is nice to have • Experience with Ashby and AI-assisted sourcing tools is nice to have
