📋 Description

• Oversee the entire finance and accounting function for 5-10 clinical trial site locations, with opportunity to increase as sites are added • Report directly to the corporate controller and partner regularly with operations • Manage monthly accounting close and reporting processes • Prepare monthly reporting packages for executive management • Engage with site operations to understand and influence revenue levers • Provide budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual revenue analysis by study • Partner with regional and site operations management on day-to-day accounting matters • Perform the annual budget process with site directors • Perform financial analysis to support the business • Perform accounting in NetSuite under accrual accounting and US GAAP, including preparing or posting journal entries • Maintain reconciliations between the accounts receivable subsystem and general ledger • Review balance sheet reconciliations • Monitor accounts receivable and collection processes • Oversee accounts payable, including the annual 1099 process • Oversee centrally performed accounting processes • Manage site cash through online banking, including remitting excess funds • Assist newly acquired or de novo sites with onboarding • Support audit, tax, and other information requests • Assist staff with training and development • Complete other assigned projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required • CPA is strongly preferred • 5-7 years accounting experience • Experience managing financials for multiple business units or entities preferred • Knowledge of GAAP accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting • Hands-on experience through the full accounting cycle of a business unit • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with non-accounting professionals • Strong Excel skills • Netsuite experience is a plus • Team player • Infrequent travel required
