📋 Description

• Answer incoming calls and emails about benefits, costs, and provider options • Help members compare benefits during open enrollment, life changes, and coverage updates • Resolve benefit-related issues by researching plan details and coordinating solutions • Place outbound calls for issues requiring further research and provide timely updates and resolutions • Maintain current knowledge of commercial plans, Medicare coordination of benefits, and group health plan structures • Perform sedentary administrative work involving prolonged sitting, computer use, phone use, data entry, and repetitive motions • Collaborate with team members, clients, and external parties

🎯 Requirements

• At least one year of customer service or benefits experience • Strong listening, empathy, and communication skills • Ability to explain complex topics clearly • Ability to multitask and manage inquiries efficiently • Strong attention to detail and organization • Comfortable using MS Word, Excel, and internal systems • Ability to research and document information • Willingness to learn benefits administration, healthcare plans, and insurance coordination • Ability to work in a distraction-free home office environment with appropriate lighting, a computer, and phone access • Strong concentration and accuracy • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Effective verbal and written communication skills
