📋 Description

• Install and upgrade HealthEdge applications in private cloud, public cloud (AWS), and customer-hosted instances • Manage applications in SaaS-hosted environments for clients • Work within the agile HealthEdge Deployment Methodology • Use tools for SaaS-hosted customer and internal environments, automation, alerting, troubleshooting, and third-party applications • Execute assignments in a timely manner and within acceptable quality levels • Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and document and share knowledge • Identify and close knowledge gaps through continuous learning and self-development • Perform job functions in accordance with HealthEdge policies and procedures, including handling healthcare information • Develop creative solutions and help leadership address problems • Work across multiple time zones in a hybrid or remote work environment • Perform occasional production upgrades outside normal business hours, including weekends

🎯 Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related disciplines or equivalent work experience • Experience as a deployment or solutions engineer, system/platform engineer, technical application support, or system administration role • Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically with Blue Card, highly desirable • Interest in learning deployment and automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet • Engineering mindset focused on designing, implementing, and improving processes and technology • Basic Linux abilities • Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, or related relational database technologies • Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience desirable • Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes orchestration • Ability and desire to learn new technologies and apply new skills • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, verbal and written • Ability to communicate directly with senior management • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and communicate to project teams • Strong troubleshooting skills and mindset • Shell scripting skills • Ability to work occasional off-hours, including weekends, for production upgrades • Working knowledge and hands-on experience with J2EE middleware such as Tomcat or JBoss is nice to have • Candidates may be required to undergo a pre-employment criminal background check
