📋 Description

• Own Atlassian architecture and governance across a multi-instance Cloud environment • Define standards for permissions, SCIM/Okta identity, Jira at scale, customization, and simplification • Own HIPAA/BAA compliance posture across products, Marketplace apps, integrations, and AI connectors such as Rovo • Define licensing strategy with procurement, including demand forecasts, tier and seat modeling, and renewal recommendations • Partner with senior stakeholders to redesign workflows and operating models during consolidation • Communicate platform strategy and renewal decisions to executive-level stakeholders • Lead two delivery tracks for internal HealthEdge teams and external customers through their managers • Oversee a shared platform architect function • Build technical judgment in-house and reduce reliance on outside consultants • Set team ownership and delivery standards, reshape work division, and coach people leaders • Apply an AI-first lens to platform design and support • Deliver incrementally through experiments, measured risks, and shorter delivery cycles • Travel as needed for client engagements and team leadership activities

🎯 Requirements

• Deep, current hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud permissions, SCIM/identity provisioning, and Jira architecture at scale • Ability to read, debug, and evaluate admin tooling built against the Atlassian REST API; Python preferred • Track record leading platform consolidation and workflow redesign through executive stakeholders in a post-M&A or multi-business-unit environment • Direct, in-house platform ownership background prioritized over pure consulting or staffing experience • Experience operating a platform inside a regulated environment such as HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, PCI, FedRAMP, or GxP • Hands-on Atlassian licensing and vendor management experience is a strong plus; comparable enterprise platform licensing experience accepted • Track record building or turning around a team, setting performance standards, structuring end-to-end ownership, and developing people • Iterative delivery mindset with experience replacing multi-quarter programs with shorter value-delivering cycles • AI-first approach and experience incorporating AI into work • Remote US geographic responsibility • Ability to work across multiple time zones in a hybrid or remote work environment • May be required to complete a pre-employment criminal background check
