📋 Description

• Lead community engagement and needs assessment efforts supporting HealthSource Integrated Solutions' statewide services • Align community engagement efforts with organizational strategic goals and mission • Lead community engagement and outreach efforts and collaborate with internal and external partners • Represent statewide services at local, state, and national events, coalitions, workgroups, professional associations, forums, and meetings • Build and maintain a statewide network of community contacts and collaborative relationships with service providers, agencies, organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and other partners • Collect, analyze, evaluate, and implement customer, community, and stakeholder feedback for quality improvement and organizational decision-making • Develop and coordinate community education, awareness, presentations, informational sessions, outreach activities, and community conversations • Support educational, promotional, and community-facing materials • Lead and coordinate Community Needs Assessment services for CMHCs and CCBHCs across Kansas • Develop and maintain a scalable CNA methodology and infrastructure • Establish CNA scopes, timelines, stakeholder engagement strategies, data needs, and deliverables • Coordinate quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis • Design and facilitate surveys, focus groups, listening sessions, interviews, and community forums • Analyze and synthesize community input and data to identify needs, gaps, assets, barriers, workforce considerations, and priorities • Develop CNA reports and deliverables and present findings to leadership, boards, staff, and community stakeholders • Help organizations translate CNA findings into actionable priorities for planning, service delivery, partnerships, outreach, and strategy • Monitor CCBHC requirements and update CNA methodology accordingly • Participate in organizational initiatives, meetings, training, planning, evaluation, reporting, documentation, and special initiatives • Coordinate or supervise supporting staff and resources as funding and capacity permit • Statewide travel as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred • Bachelor's degree in public health, behavioral health, social work, psychology, sociology, communications, community development, human services, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience • At least two years of experience in community engagement, outreach, stakeholder relations, program coordination, behavioral health, public health, human services, or related fields • Experience developing and managing partnerships or collaborative initiatives involving multiple organizations, public agencies, community systems, or other stakeholders, particularly with priority or underserved populations • Experience conducting or coordinating community needs assessments, community health assessments, environmental scans, or similar planning and evaluation activities • Experience collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative information and translating findings into actionable recommendations • Experience facilitating surveys, focus groups, interviews, listening sessions, and community forums • Experience leading community education, outreach, awareness, or engagement initiatives • Experience working within or across behavioral health, crisis response, suicide prevention, public safety, emergency response, child welfare, education, or related systems • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, coordinate activities, meet deadlines, and follow through on commitments • Ability to organize and synthesize information from multiple sources and communicate findings clearly • Ability and willingness to travel statewide as needed • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation when travel is required • Must successfully complete all required background checks • Prior computer experience and basic computer fluency • Demonstrated ability to learn and use new technologies, including computer programs and phone systems • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry 20 pounds
