📋 Description

• Lead the People team across the employee lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding to people and organizational development • Oversee global compensation, organizational design, performance management, employee retention, and engagement programs • Maintain a robust, scalable, values-driven, and accountable remote culture • Own systems supporting remote work and collaboration • Define and measure the health of People programs and share progress with leadership and the business • Use data to guide decisions, challenge assumptions, and adjust strategy • Build and execute talent strategy, including recruiting strategy and partnership with hiring managers • Apply an AI lens to People team operations and help team members leverage AI effectively • Align People programs with Help Scout’s strategic narrative and business needs • Establish planning, prioritization, and execution rhythms for the People team • Report to Shawna Fisher, COO

🎯 Requirements

• Served as a people leader at a scaling B2B SaaS company in the $30M–$150M ARR range • Led organizations through a growth stage and understands how to get people thinking differently in a changing environment • Hands-on experience as an HRBP • Genuine point of view on how AI can advance organizations’ people practices • Creative approach to people and people strategies • High standards and ability to communicate clearly and empathetically in a remote setting • Comfortable shipping, measuring, and adjusting while balancing performance goals and long-term vision • Must already be authorized to work from your home country • Help Scout does not sponsor visas
