📋 Description

• Promote strategic business growth, customer retention and satisfaction, and marketing of company services • Manage terminal personnel and ensure compliance with applicable safety rules and regulations • Enforce Company, DOT, and OSHA safety rules and monitor risk • Oversee the daily workflow of the terminal • Respond to customer inquiries and proactively communicate about delayed loads or potential issues • Ensure facility security, cleanliness, and organization, including shop, tank wash, and yard locker rooms • Facilitate accurate billing through accurate dispatch and billing notes and resolving Tank Wash and EBE workflow inquiries • Complete Safety Observation Reports and ensure training compliance • Identify opportunities to improve customer service • Audit pre-trips and post-trips for each Driver Manager • Recruit, interview, hire, and train staff • Conduct staff meetings covering safety, service performance, driver hiring and retention, and terminal improvements • Provide staff professional development, performance feedback, and objectives • Audit driver eLogs in PeopleNet Fleet Manager • Coach Driver Managers on terminal and scorecard performance and ensure accurate driver assignments • Handle employee discipline and termination according to company policy • Promote quality processes and continuous improvement • Ensure appropriate financial management and achievement of company goals • Schedule employees and oversee work assignments • Develop environmental compliance and safety plans where required • Maintain positive relationships with customer contacts in the terminal area • Follow established emergency policies and procedures • Monitor overtime • Perform additional duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications including Word, Outlook and Excel • Staff supervision experience • Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations • Experience managing a location of similar scope • Prior experience as a dispatcher or driver • Some travel to corporate office and other locations • Willingness to work a flexible schedule • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements • 7+ years of related experience preferably with liquid bulk • Experience using the TMW system • Proven ability to motivate, develop, and mentor staff in order to optimize their performance • Strong organizational and analytical skills • Solid communication skills and attention to detail • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change • Strong customer service orientation, ensuring needs and deadlines are met in a timely fashion • Demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude • Proven focus on continuous improvement in the workplace • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced organization • Proven problem solver, anticipates challenges and is both responsive and resourceful • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently • Ability to operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner • Required physical ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and meet specified vision requirements
