📋 Description

• Provide repair services for equipment in practitioners’ offices under the direction of a Lead Technician or Project Coordinator • Provide basic installation services as needed • Maintain and use necessary tools for installation and repair services • Complete on-site installation, repair, maintenance and testing tasks under supervision • Troubleshoot technical problems, diagnose errors and determine solutions • Understand customer requirements and make recommendations to optimize the customer experience • Maintain and manage inventory levels in the service van • Produce timely and detailed service reports • Attend Henry Schein Dental Career Development and manufacturer technical training • Communicate assignment progress to team members and HUB dispatchers • Complete and close work orders daily and submit them for billing • Review work orders with customers or responsible staff before departure • Submit FDA forms, expense reports and other required paperwork • Comply with Fleet Management Policy, including maintenance and accident management policies • Participate in special projects and perform other required duties

🎯 Requirements

• Typically, 2 or more years of field service experience with demonstrated proficiency • Basic mechanical background • Customer service background • Basic troubleshooting skills • Independent self-starter • Basic computer skills • Interpersonal / communication skills • Professionalism • Accuracy and detail-orientation • Working knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical and electrical systems • Ability to maneuver large equipment • Ability to perform substantial and/or repetitive bending, stopping, lifting and climbing of ladders • Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training; Associates degree or Technical School Certification is preferred • Compliance with OSHA regulations • Ability to maintain and utilize personal protective equipment when needed
