📋 Description

• Partner with Territory Managers to identify, qualify, and advance enterprise sales opportunities • Design and present networking solutions aligned with customer business and technical requirements • Lead technical discovery sessions, demonstrations, and customer Proof of Concepts (PoCs) • Develop solution architectures, proposals, and technical documentation • Position HPE Networking solutions against competitive offerings by articulating business and technical value • Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, from opportunity identification through deal closure • Collaborate with engineering, product teams, and channel partners to deliver successful customer outcomes • Stay current on emerging networking technologies and industry trends • Support Higher Education and State Government customers across Maryland and Delaware

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience • 4+ years of networking experience • Strong expertise in enterprise networking technologies, including routing and switching, wireless networking, network security, SASE/SD-WAN, data center networking, and network management platforms (on-premises and cloud) • Industry certifications such as HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, or equivalent are highly desirable • Experience supporting complex enterprise sales engagements in competitive environments • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to lead customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions independently • Strong consultative selling and solution discovery skills • Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes for executive and technical audiences • Proven collaboration skills in team-selling environments • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills • Self-motivated with strong territory ownership mindset • Adaptability and willingness to continuously learn evolving technologies • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, competitive environment • Strong relationship-building skills with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders • Must reside in or be willing to support customers throughout Maryland and Delaware • Ability to travel locally within the territory as needed, potentially up to 3 days per week
