📋 Description

• Partner with Territory Managers to identify, qualify, and advance enterprise sales opportunities • Design and present networking solutions aligned with customer business and technical requirements • Lead technical discovery sessions, demonstrations, and customer Proofs of Concept • Develop solution architectures, proposals, and technical documentation • Position HPE Networking solutions against competitive offerings by articulating business and technical value • Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, from opportunity identification through deal closure • Collaborate with engineering, product teams, and channel partners to deliver successful customer outcomes • Stay current on emerging networking technologies and industry trends • Support Higher Education and State Government customers across Maryland and Delaware • Travel locally within the territory for customer meetings, presentations, and Proofs of Concepts, potentially up to 3 days per week

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience • 4+ years of networking experience • Strong expertise in routing and switching • Strong expertise in wireless networking • Strong expertise in network security • Strong expertise in SASE / SD-WAN • Strong expertise in data center networking • Strong expertise in network management platforms, on-premises and cloud • Experience supporting complex enterprise sales engagements in competitive environments • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to lead customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions independently • Strong consultative selling and solution discovery skills • Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes • Proven collaboration skills in team-selling environments • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills • Self-motivated with strong territory ownership mindset • Adaptability and willingness to continuously learn evolving technologies • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, competitive environment • Strong relationship-building skills with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders • Industry certifications such as HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, or equivalent are highly desirable
