📋 Description

• Provide medication abortion care and other sexual and reproductive healthcare through Hey Jane’s online platform • Conduct visits via video, phone, or asynchronously • Review patients’ medical intake responses • Communicate with patients through the HIPAA-compliant messaging app and live appointments • Determine appropriate treatment plans • Provide follow-up care • Prescribe medications to mail-order or local pharmacies • Respond to patient inquiries requiring further medical evaluation • Direct nursing staff regarding referrals and additional prescriptions as necessary • Work alongside nursing and patient advocate teams, which primarily handle administrative tasks, patient education and support, non-urgent support, and follow-up review

🎯 Requirements

• Active Board Certification, in good standing to practice medicine • Active state licensure (NP) • Willing and eligible to apply for additional licenses • 1+ year experience providing abortion & reproductive healthcare • Interest in providing caring and compassionate services to diverse population with a non-judgmental, patient-centered approach • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills • Skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients • Professional commitment to mission, philosophy and goals of Hey Jane • Excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment where processes may change quickly and frequently • Eager to engage in constant process improvement to refine tools and operations for improved care delivery • Startup experience (bonus) • Competency in providing trauma-informed care (bonus) • 1+ year of telehealth experience (bonus) • Licensed in multiple states (bonus) • Bilingual in Spanish (bonus)
