📋 Description

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy • Conduct routine check-ups, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed • Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies • Prescribe and manage medications, including psychotropic medications and controlled substances • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop treatment plans

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania and New Jersey NP licenses • Ability to bill Medicare • Current PMHNP-BC certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) • Minimum 2 years of experience as a PMHNP in an inpatient or outpatient setting • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills for complex mental health needs • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with autonomy and independence • Strong knowledge of psychiatric-mental health nursing principles, psychopharmacology, and psychotherapy • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
