📋 Description

• Work with Supply and Marketing groups to prepare contracts and set up customers to help the Commercial group sell products at the highest possible netbacks • Manage customer setups with credit, tax, and accounting teams through completion and communicate updates to stakeholders • Ensure Company contracts and prices are accurate, complete, and delivered on time • Coordinate with scheduling, billing, and accounting groups to ensure prompt and accurate invoices • Identify potential problems and take initiative to prevent sales issues and ensure a positive customer experience • Analyze customer issues independently and propose and implement timely solutions using knowledge of contract and pricing policies and procedures • Prepare back-office setups to keep customers supplied in response to market opportunities or refinery issues • Develop expertise with SAP modules and external terminal and pricing software, including Deal Capture, DTN TABS, Atlas, and Customer Portal • Assist with marketing reports on upcoming contract expiration dates for contract renegotiation • Develop and document policies and procedures and identify opportunities to improve accuracy, communication, and timeliness • Maintain positive working relationships with internal counterparts and external customers • Provide backup support, training, and direction to other contracts and pricing staff • Perform other assignments as directed by the manager

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of eight years related work experience required • A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required • Four years in the petroleum industry preferred • A Bachelor's degree in business or in a technical discipline preferred • Ability to apply advanced clerical and data entry skills to assignments based on pre-established guidelines • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products including MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel • Strong working knowledge with the mechanics of a contract and pricing • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal • Basic understanding of computer use • Intermediate reading and writing skills • Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations • Knowledge of trade locations and SAP navigation • Advanced ability to implement new systems and procedures and evaluate their effectiveness • Responsible for leading or supervising the work of others
