📋 Description

• Issue new and renewal certificates for commercial lines clients • Provide customer service for insured parties requesting certificates of insurance • Read and interpret data, comparing it against policy guidelines • Use Applied Epic, spreadsheet software, and word processing software to obtain insurance data and issue certificates • Review insurance contracts to determine certificate type and required information • Communicate with Account Managers and others to obtain information • Process and print insurance documents • Prepare documents for mail

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent • 1-2 years of insurance experience required; commercial lines specific experience preferred • Ability to enter, transcribe, store, and maintain data electronically • Ability to evaluate information against a given standard • Ability to work under stress in a high-volume environment • Active General Lines or Property & Casualty License required (company will help candidate obtain licensure if needed) • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Applied Epic experience preferred; knowledge of a similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable • Working knowledge of CSR24 preferred • Ability to lift 25 pounds • Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens • Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person • Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, and 10-key • Walking, bending, sitting, reaching, and stretching in all directions
