📋 Description

• Set direction for requirements discovery across multiple product areas or complex, cross-functional initiatives • Translate ambiguous or competing business objectives into structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Resolve conflicts among stakeholder groups • Identify systemic gaps and inefficiencies across products and workflows and recommend solutions informing product strategy • Serve as escalation point for requirements or scope conflicts between business stakeholders and engineering teams • Establish and maintain requirements-gathering standards and best practices for the Business Analyst team • Guide backlog strategy and prioritization across multiple product areas • Advise the Director of Product Management on trade-offs • Oversee backlog grooming and release activities across the analyst team • Audit work item quality in Azure DevOps and coach others on consistency • Build relationships with senior business stakeholders and engineering leadership • Represent the analyst function in cross-functional and strategic conversations • Facilitate complex or high-stakes requirements reviews and sign-off sessions • Advise on requirements-related risk and product roadmap decisions • Establish documentation standards for BRDs, process maps, and data flow diagrams • Consolidate and report on backlog health and requirement completion trends • Advise on data and reporting considerations for complex, cross-system requirements • Mentor and coach less experienced analysts

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a business analyst or similar role within a technology-focused organization • Demonstrated ability to lead requirements discovery and analysis across multiple product areas or complex, cross-functional initiatives • Track record of mentoring or developing less experienced analysts • Strong ability to translate ambiguous, competing, or undefined business needs into structured, actionable requirements • Agile/Scrum experience, including facilitating or advising on ceremonies across multiple teams • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience engaging senior stakeholders and engineering leadership • Proficient in SQL • Familiarity with database server concepts, including tables, relationships, and data validation • Ability to lift 25 pounds • Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens • Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person • Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, and 10-key • Walking, bending, sitting, reaching, and stretching in all directions
