📋 Description

• Drive instructional design strategy as a technical visionary and primary engine for complex learning initiatives • Partner with Technical Writing to align product documentation and learning pathways • Own the transition from Skilljar to a custom-built LMS • Define LMS system requirements, authoring workflows, learner UX, and platform capabilities • Guide external developers, product managers, and subject matter experts • Establish scalable design systems, style guides, and AI-assisted content workflows • Architect technical learning pathways, role-based certifications, and self-paced academies • Design scenario-based interactive experiences, simulated environments, sandbox exercises, and API/code walkthroughs • Translate product updates and technical specifications into accurate learning content • Track learner telemetry, product adoption, time-to-value, course completion, certification pass rates, and ROI

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in instructional design within a B2B SaaS, developer tooling, or high-growth tech environment • Proven project management experience driving cross-functional initiatives as an autonomous individual contributor • Hands-on experience defining requirements for LMS implementations, migrations, or custom builds • Deep understanding of SCORM, xAPI, and LTI • Comfort navigating API documentation, cloud architectures, developer workflows, or SaaS platform configurations • Advanced proficiency with Articulate 360, Camtasia, Loom, and Figma • Familiarity with transitioning from Customer Education / LXP platforms such as Skilljar into custom environments • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, rapid prototyping (SAM), and data-driven decision-making • Exceptional cross-functional stakeholder management and consultative influence skills • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada or the United States
