📋 Description

• Understand user requirements and design and develop basic Appian solutions. • Deliver complex development assignments efficiently and comprehensively. • Improve quality, speed, and overall productivity in Appian development work. • Support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). • Work independently and within a small team. • Present to product owners and other stakeholders. • Follow project methodologies, processes, protocols, SDLC, and deployment cycles.

🎯 Requirements

• 1 to 2 years in software development, preferably some exposure to Appian. • Understand the internal project methodologies (mostly agile events) to deliver working code. • Displays the ability to work independently and within a small team setting. • Ability to present to product owners and other stakeholders. • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as software engineering, engineering, computer science, etc. • Good communication • Competency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite. • General knowledge of the assigned support area, including customer domain, solution set, or internal HQ functions. • Appian Level 1 certification is preferred or expected to be taken in the first month. • Agile Certification • SQL basic DDL and DML operations; ability to select/search (CRUD) • Ability to work with Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL as needed on the project. • Ability to map database changes to Appian CDT via XSD. • Ability to follow directions from a supervisor or client staff and complete assignments diligently. • Familiarity with and adherence to project team processes and protocols. • Understanding of SDLC, deployment cycles, and HIL development processes. • US Citizenship required.
