📋 Description

• Provide actionable legal advice on healthcare laws, rules, and regulations impacting Hims & Hers products and services • Support care operations, medical affairs, and EMR product engineering teams on telehealth care delivery laws and regulations • Advise cross-functional teams on healthcare regulatory risks and telehealth treatment considerations • Support growth and product counsel teams on regulatory aspects of new product launches • Identify issues involving privacy, product, employment, litigation, and pharmacy matters • Collaborate with the public policy team and provide subject matter expertise on proposed laws, rules, and regulations • Stay current on relevant state and federal telehealth laws

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school • Current active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction • 4+ years of experience as a practicing attorney with healthcare regulatory experience • Extensive experience with healthcare laws and regulations, particularly telehealth compliance/operations and digital health • Familiarity with state and federal laws, rules, and regulations applicable to care delivery services and operations • Knowledge of telehealth technologies/modalities, corporate practice of medicine (CPOM), state-by-state professional practice standards, credentialing, provider compensation, and managing board complaints • Ability to support the customer experience team on healthcare regulatory compliance • Strong record of providing creative, solution-focused advice • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Strong time management, project prioritization, and management skills • Experience interacting with legislators, trade associations, and licensing/regulatory authorities is a plus • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction for any employer • No current or future immigration sponsorship requirement by Hims & Hers in the U.S.
