📋 Description

• Develop and execute a comprehensive principal gifts strategy focused on ultra-high-net-worth individuals • Build and manage a portfolio of qualified multi-million-net-worth prospects and donors • Partner with the Executive Director and Board of Directors on relationships, donor meetings, and solicitations • Collaborate with the Board of Patrons to retain and grow investment and identify prospective donors through networks • Develop customized engagement plans aligned with prospects’ philanthropic interests and HAF’s strategic priorities • Create principal gift opportunities and proposals with programmatic leadership • Design and oversee invitation-only events with the Events team • Use donor databases, wealth screening, and prospect research to identify prospects • Maintain donor records, cultivation plans, and activity reports in the CRM • Monitor principal gift pipeline performance and report revenue projections to the Executive Director and CFO • Achieve annual principal gift fundraising, donor engagement, and portfolio performance goals

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred • 10+ years professional experience in nonprofit fundraising • Demonstrated experience securing six- and seven-figure commitments from ultra-high-net-worth individuals or families • Experience developing and executing individualized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for principal gift prospects • Experience cultivating and sustaining long-term relationships with sophisticated donors, family offices, and wealth advisors • Experience partnering with executive leadership, boards of directors, and influential volunteer leaders • Proficiency with donor CRM systems • Proven track record with data analysis and fundraising campaigns • Excellent project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Commitment to HAF’s mission and values • Ability to comply with vaccination and health requirements in accordance with CDC, local, state, and federal guidelines • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods • Ability to operate a computer and view a monitor for extended periods • Ability to drive a vehicle, whether owned or rented
