📋 Description

• Engage key personnel at Holman auto dealerships to create awareness of Holman Insurance Services • Visit dealerships and host company-sponsored luncheons or other marketing activities • Develop and maintain an active list of introductions and prospects from dealerships and referral sources • Work with existing Holman retail customers, follow up on leads and cross-sell existing insurance clients • Contact prospects by telephone, email, correspondence, social media and other methods to assess household personal lines insurance needs • Develop client-specific quotes and information using a consultative, needs-based approach • Generate new business applications for personal lines Property and Casualty insurance and submit them to carriers • Ensure attention to detail, adherence to underwriting guidelines and persistent follow-up for policy issuance • Answer questions about insurance coverage, policy provisions, discounts, pricing and related information • Work with management to achieve premium and retention targets • Act as a brand ambassador at Holman functions and across the organization • Collaborate with Account Representatives and customer service personnel • Assist with new employees, train others on the business operating system and share successful ideas and processes • Assist with policy changes, billing questions, claims inquiries and other client service needs • Create a positive experience for clients, prospects and business partners

🎯 Requirements

• Four-year college degree or demonstrated equivalent experience as determined by department management • Property & Casualty Insurance License • Minimum of one-year experience in insurance industry • Maintained a $25,000 minimum monthly average premium in personal lines with at least 10 households/month • Maintains a quality book of business – 85% retention and 1.4 policies per household • Flexibility in work schedule, including some evening and Saturday hours • Ability to travel within the local NJ and PA markets for meetings, prospecting calls and network development • Adaptability and willingness to change as the business grows • Highly organized and exceptional at following up on assigned tasks • Focused on learning and personal growth • Ability to become a robust user of the Agency Management System • Goal driven, self-motivated and comfortable with individual accountability • Collaborative and comfortable working in a team environment • Ability to develop genuine relationships with business partners and team members • Outgoing and able to inspire and motivate potential referral sources • Dedicated to delivering exceptional customer care • Comfortable interacting by phone and in person with prospects, clients, referral sources and business colleagues • Excellent writing and communication skills
