📋 Description

• Independently develop, maintain, and support The Home Depot's technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software • Create, deploy, and support production infrastructure • Participate in routine upgrades and application support • Perform root cause and post-mortem analyses for security incidents and service interruptions • Research and analyze business trends and behavioral data to identify improvement opportunities and initiatives • Evaluate, develop, and recommend cost-effective technology solutions • Research and design infrastructure, network, database, cloud, AI, and security architectures • Create and maintain monitoring and support tools • Participate in project planning and reporting across multiple efforts • Collaborate with product and project teams to enable infrastructure needs • Support technology architecture design reviews • Monitor and optimize applications, infrastructure, networks, databases, and security • Drive debugging, support, root cause analysis, and post-mortem analysis • Maintain, upgrade, and support systems and infrastructure for operational stability • Manage vendor problem tickets through resolution • Produce in-house documentation and move knowledge-base articles to infrastructure-as-code models • Keep monitoring and alerting up to date • Report to a Systems Engineer Manager or Senior Manager; supervise no direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field related to the job • Minimum 4 years of work experience • Advanced-level knowledge of call-flow build and design in an Avaya Enterprise Cloud or similar environment • Advanced-level knowledge of Avaya Call Management System (CMS) Supervisor, including creation and management of custom reports • Ability to translate customer requirements and business needs into contact center platform designs and implement them in an Avaya Enterprise Cloud or similar environment • Ability to troubleshoot complex, large-scale enterprise contact center solutions supporting over five thousand users • Experience troubleshooting and remediating within multiple Information Technology disciplines • Experience installing and upgrading applications or databases and performing system maintenance • Experience monitoring, configuring, and tuning systems, networks, or databases • Experience with operating system commands, utilities, and scripting • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure • Experience supporting a 24x7 retail operation • Experience with version control systems • Experience with production system designs including Infrastructure as Code, High Availability, and performance monitoring • Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
