📋 Description

• QA and regression-test software for Hometap’s homeowner platform, investor tools, and internal systems • Drive user acceptance testing (UAT) programs with internal stakeholders and end users • Help to architect, build, and continuously extend our automated regression testing suite; mentor engineers on the automation framework and best practices • Design solutions to automate testing of third-party integrations • Collaborate closely with DevOps to create and maintain AWS sandbox environments for testing and build robust continuous testing pipelines, utilizing tools such as Docker and AWS • Suggest and evaluate new technologies and tools to assist the QA Team and the overall Technical Product Organization • Partner with the Product team; carry in-depth knowledge of Hometap software, and acceptance-test new features while covering them with automation • Be a key stakeholder in release readiness validation; be empowered to prevent immature software from premature release

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in web application testing • Strong command of QA processes, testing methodologies, and best practices, with a track record of championing quality standards across all phases of product development • 2+ years of hands-on experience with web QA automation tools and frameworks • Experience conducting code reviews of test automation code and mentoring others on best practices, code standards, and maintainability • Proficiency in JavaScript for writing automated tests, with the adaptability to pick up additional languages as needed • Experience implementing continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with DevOps • Experience with API testing and UI/UX testing • Ability to partner with product managers to translate feature requirements into comprehensive test plans, thinking from the perspective of multiple stakeholders • Meaningful experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) • Strong exploratory testing skills and a high-quality bar
