β’ Proactively reviews suppliers, assesses operational gaps to identify risks and takes systematic actions to develop a world class supplier. β’ Is globally responsible for all supplier development and quality improvement and sustainment. β’ Works directly with sourcing, business, engineering and our customers on strategies to improve product quality and delivery. β’ Implementing big ideas and continuous improvement projects delivering an impact across the business. β’ Are leaders creating a performance culture with our suppliers through coaching and technical engagement. β’ Your role is critical to ensuring supplier compliance with Honeywell requirements, driving product quality and supporting flawless execution of First Article Inspection (FAI), Source Inspection activities and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
β’ Minimum 2 years experience in Quality, Engineering or manufacturing β’ Minimum 2 years experience working with suppliers or in a manufacturing environment. β’ Experience with GD&T and inspection techniques. β’ Role involves travel to supplier sites and Honeywell facilities as needed. β’ Ability to meet physical requirements (vision test, lift up to 20 lbs., walking/standing for extended periods) β’ Bachelorβs degree in engineering or technical discipline β’ Energetic team player that interfaces well at all levels of an organization. β’ Strong communicator keeps alignment across functions and can influence suppliers. β’ Independent and accountable β takes ownership of assignments with minimal supervision. β’ Analytical and detail-focused with problem-solving discipline. β’ Able to organize, pivot, prioritize and multitask. β’ Continuous improvement mindset, always seeking better ways to work. β’ Six Sigma Green Belt certification or Black Belt preferred. β’ Experience in the manufacture of aerospace mechanical and/or electronics products preferred. β’ Familiar with ISO9001, AS9100, NADCAP requirements, APQP and PPAP. β’ IPC610, IPC620 Preferred. β’ Proficient at Microsoft Office Suite applications and SAP. β’ Technical knowledge of castings or Circuit-Card Assemblies (Depends on location and assignments) preferred.
