📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for major GIS and Real Property project activities • Coordinate GIS technical tasks, work methods, staffing needs, and project execution • Guide development and improvement of GIS data validation tools, geospatial workflows, web maps, and analytical solutions • Identify and resolve discrepancies between GIS records and Army Real Property information • Evaluate data quality, business rules, mapping processes, and geospatial system requirements • Collaborate with GIS analysts, Real Property specialists, software testers, data analysts, and training personnel • Engage Government technical stakeholders and senior management regarding project needs, technical approaches, progress, and solutions • Support technical documentation, process improvements, and repeatable workflows for Army installation personnel

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in a relevant field of study • Strong technical knowledge of GIS and Esri ArcGIS application software • Understanding of DoD and Army Real Property and Installation Geospatial Information and Services (IGI&S) policies and guidance • Understanding of the most recently published DCS G-4 IGI&S Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs) • Understanding of the current Spatial Data Standard for Facilities, Infrastructure and Environment (SDSFIE) Army Adaptation • Experience supervising, technically directing, or managing major GIS project tasks and technology assignments • Ability to manage GIS project activities, technical methods, and staffing to ensure technical requirements are satisfied • Ability to interface effectively with clients and senior management, including discussions and negotiations related to technical project activities • Ability to obtain a Department of the Army Common Access Card (CAC) • Preferred: Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, geodatabases, and web GIS applications • Preferred: GIS support for Army installations, DPW, facilities, infrastructure, land management, or Real Property programs • Preferred: Familiarity with HQIIS, GFEBS, PRIDE, RPUID, and Real Property inventory or reconciliation • Preferred: Experience applying SDSFIE standards, attribute validation rules, spatial data quality checks, and GIS/Real Property alignment processes • Preferred: Experience with GIS workflow automation using Python, ArcPy, ModelBuilder, or similar tools • Preferred: Experience coordinating GIS application development, testing, dashboards, or technical training • Preferred: Ability to translate complex GIS issues into clear recommendations for technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders • Must have sufficient mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling • Possible lifting up to 25 lbs
