📋 Description

• Create, develop and maintain reinsurance contract documentation for complex client accounts • Use comprehensive knowledge of insurance/reinsurance concepts to assist broker teams with projects • Draft reinsurance contracts, interests and liabilities agreements and related documents in coordination with brokers, clients and reinsurers • Interpret and assess contracts and perform quality assurance reviews • Ensure contract wording reflects the intent of reinsurance negotiations • Provide technical guidance regarding reinsurance concepts and contract language application • Participate in Requests for Proposal and sales presentations by recommending coverage and wording enhancements • Promote, build and maintain relationships with brokers, clients and reinsurers • Understand issues, resolve problems and review working practices • Monitor industry developments through news, webinars, committees and conferences • Participate in department meetings to share opinions, ideas, knowledge and solutions • Maintain best practices • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Four Year College Degree (B.S. or B.A.) or equivalent experience • Minimum of 10 years of experience with reinsurance contracts required • Extensive MS Word experience and expertise • Experience with Adobe and Microsoft Office products • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Excellent organization skills • Legally authorized to work in the US • Law Degree (J.D.) helpful but not required
