📋 Description

• Review admissions applications and score them based on a rubric • Input responses into the reader portal for admissions purposes • Stay current on reader communications and updates through Slack and email • Learn and thoroughly understand the admissions application reading process • Help shape BYU’s incoming class by supporting the admissions office in identifying applicants who fit the institution • Complete approximately 20 hours of work per week from hire through mid-January, including availability during the holiday season • Be available during two designated one-week periods in early June and August

🎯 Requirements

• High school graduation and 4 years of work experience • Advanced reading comprehension • Ability to effectively manage time • Ability to follow instructions • Responsible and reliable • Ability to keep confidences • Basic computer skills • Access to internet and a computer • Availability for approximately 20 hours per week through mid-January, including the holiday season • Availability during two designated one-week periods in early June and August • Employees must maintain the CES Honor Code and Dress and Grooming Standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints • BYU strongly prefers faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; members must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend • Resume and cover letter required • Bachelor’s degree from BYU preferred
