📋 Description

• Develop pricing assumptions • Submit bids • File premium rates and rate certifications with regulatory agencies to obtain approval • Support implementation of rates, new plans, and benefit changes • Advise Product Development on the cost impact of new products and benefits • Develop and maintain tools for pricing standard and custom benefits • Establish market-level financial metrics aligned with segment profitability goals • Analyze results and projections • Recommend pricing actions to address gaps in targeted performance • Use market-level projections and experience-data tools to identify root causes and actionable insights • Research the competitive landscape • Collaborate with Sales and other market-supporting partners to develop profitable membership growth strategies • Complete actuarial certifications related to rate filings, including attesting to compliance with state and federal rating and benefit regulations • Determine work approaches and priorities while following established direction

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree • Successful completion of at least 1 actuarial exam • Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and adapt effectively to change • Willingness to accommodate a work schedule according to Eastern Time Zone • Minimum home internet download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
