📋 Description

• Design and develop IT application architecture solutions aligned with enterprise architecture direction and standards • Perform technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications • Develop specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings • Assess compatibility and integration of proposed standard products/services • Advise executives on significant functional strategies • Lead architecture design, governance and strategic direction of the Specialty Integration Hub • Define, establish and enforce integration architecture standards, design principles and best practices • Partner with engineering, product and business stakeholders to translate business objectives into technology solutions and delivery roadmaps • Drive enterprise API, data integration and cloud architecture strategies • Provide architectural leadership through solution lifecycles, including design reviews, technology evaluations, risk assessments and governance oversight • Mentor and guide technical teams • Align with other architects on key deliverables and timelines • Own end-to-end application architecture for Specialty across systems of experience, operations and insight • Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field • 8 or more years of experience as a senior developer in large IT projects • Extensive experience designing scalable, secure enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services and Azure Functions • Expertise architecting big data pipelines and Lakehouse architectures • Experience with Delta Lake, Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark and Azure Data Factory (ADF) • Strong background designing secure API layers using Azure API Management (APIM) • Experience with REST, GraphQL or gRPC • Understanding of integrating third-party SaaS products using event-driven architectures • Experience with Azure Event Hubs, Service Bus or Kafka • Experience implementing modern DevOps practices • Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences • Home internet with minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
