📋 Description

• Provide support for Humana's expansion of value-based programs on the Service Fund team • Work with providers to achieve success in value-based programs • Report to the Associate Director, Business Intelligence • Support the development, implementation, and valuation of new programs • Maintain current programs • Use complex SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other technical skills to drive process improvement and manage value-based relationships • Conduct research and produce monthly activity reports • Reconcile data and explain its meaning for current and potential programs • Produce reports and complete ad hoc requests using Excel, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other analytical tools • Provide support for payments to value-based specialists • Assist in evaluating new value-based program opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of data analysis experience OR Master's degree and 3+ years of data analysis experience • 2+ years' advanced experience developing complex SQL queries • 1+ years' experience in healthcare-related data, such as provider or insurance data • Experience with Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formatting • Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations • Experience with verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership • Must be authorized to work in the US without Humana sponsorship • Dedicated work space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information • Home internet with minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds • Preferred: Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • Preferred: Experience with health insurance-related data, such as Medicare, Medicaid, claims, or premium data • Preferred: Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or Databricks • Preferred: Experience with PySpark and/or Python
