📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, join, and aggregate data • Build and maintain data models, including DAX measures and calculated columns • Partner with business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into data visualizations • Develop and maintain ETL/data pipelines • Monitor data quality and troubleshoot discrepancies between source systems and reports • Document data definitions, report logic, and dashboard usage • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and streamline reporting processes

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI or a comparable BI tool such as Tableau or Looker, including DAX and data modeling • Strong SQL skills, including complex queries with joins, subqueries, and window functions against relational databases • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices, including star schemas • Experience with data warehouses and/or ETL tools and processes • Familiarity with IMO, Insurance Carrier, and/or financial services operations strongly preferred • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy • Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment • Familiarity with Power Query (M language) and Power BI Service administration is an asset • Exposure to Python or another scripting language for data processing or automation is an asset • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure or Snowflake is an asset • Must reside and be authorized to work in the USA
