📋 Description

• Acquire, clean, validate, store, protect, and develop datasets from internal and external sources • Ensure data accessibility, reliability, timeliness, and compliance with data lifecycle processes • Develop and execute enterprise data architectures, policies, practices, and procedures • Interact with business and IT departments to understand user needs • Translate business needs into technical data requirements • Identify opportunities for process improvement • Coordinate with other teams to address all aspects of data needs • Coordinate and complete projects on time and within scope • Prepare data for reporting and analysis, including visualizations • Perform in-depth data analysis to derive insights that drive business outcomes and decisions • Lead projects through the full lifecycle, from design and coding through code review and deployment • Conduct demonstration meetings with clients to show project progress • Provide architecture guidance on data warehouse, data lake, and modern BI concepts and technologies • Travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • Minimum 7 years of technical experience in data analysis using ETL tools and developing ETL solutions using SSIS, ADF, and/or Databricks • Experience working in a SQL environment with comprehensive knowledge of SSMS and SSIS • Extensive experience developing stored procedures and dynamic SQL • Strong working knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure Synapse Analytics and Snowflake • Experience with Power Platforms: Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps • Experience making complex data accessible, understandable, and usable for leaders • Experience leading projects through the entire lifecycle, from design and coding to code review and deployment • Proficiency in root cause analysis • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and provide solutions for business or data issues • Good presentation skills for client demonstration meetings • Experience working with deadlines and addressing customer satisfaction • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Preferred: Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, and/or related field • Preferred: Healthcare or managed care experience • Preferred: Experience implementing scalable and maintainable dimensional data models • Preferred: Experience with Azure Data Factory automation and data architecture implementation • Preferred: Experience providing architecture guidance on Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Modern BI concepts using Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Databricks • Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
