📋 Description

• Perform short-range and intermediate staffing forecasts for Medicaid Utilization Management • Incorporate real-time data, use trends, and anticipated demand fluctuations into forecasting • Administer and oversee scheduling, timekeeping, attendance line, and absence management • Assess organizational staffing requirements and recommend immediate and future workforce solutions • Analyze talent and staffing needs to support department and segment goals • Apply organizational strategy and departmental linkages to workforce decisions • Collaborate with leadership and teams on operational execution and strategic initiatives • Make independent decisions regarding work methods and approaches • Resolve issues in ambiguous or evolving circumstances • Ensure workforce management activities comply with applicable employment laws and internal guidelines • Monitor and report workforce metrics • Adjust planning and processes to optimize performance and employee engagement • Support the Medicaid Inpatient and Outpatient Utilization Management segment

🎯 Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of Verint • 3+ years of Workforce Management experience • Experience collaborating with leaders • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong analysis, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time • Ability to meet home internet requirements of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information • Preferred: Previous experience in a healthcare environment (call center or back office) • Preferred: Bachelor's degree • Preferred: Prior experience in Process or Project Management • Must comply with U.S. federal and Puerto Rico employment laws and Humana's internal guidelines
