📋 Description

• Lead and support special projects, strategic initiatives, and business priorities assigned by Hotel Finance leadership • Develop, monitor, and execute action plans to improve hotel profitability, operational effectiveness, guest experience, and overall business performance • Provide strategic accounting oversight and leadership for the Essentials Shared Services organization • Serve as primary finance liaison with hotel ownership groups • Serve as strategic finance partner for Hyatt’s Bunkhouse Hotels portfolio • Conduct financial, operational, and organizational assessments • Partner with hotel, regional, corporate, ownership, and Shared Services stakeholders to address complex business challenges • Support hotels and regional teams through analysis, project leadership, performance improvement initiatives, operational reviews, and business transformation • Conduct financial integrity and compliance reviews • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to execute key business initiatives • Support annual planning, forecasting, business reviews, capital planning, and strategic decision-making • Lead or participate in organizational, process improvement, systems, reporting, Shared Services optimization, and transformation initiatives • Identify and promote best practices • Provide coaching, guidance, and developmental support to finance leaders and teams • Ensure compliance with Management Agreement terms, the Uniform System of Accounts, Hyatt Standard Operating Procedures, and GAAP • Maintain proficiency with hotel finance technologies and financial reporting platforms • Travel throughout the Americas, including international travel, as required • Perform other duties assigned by the Vice President of Hotel Finance

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years progressive hotel finance experience • Prior Director of Finance experience at a full-service, luxury, resort, or complex hotel • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional business initiatives and influencing hotel performance • Experience with owners’ communication • Experience preparing budgets • Experience partnering with other key roles • Experience in various hotels in different countries internationally or states in the US across multiple brands • BA/BS in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred • Proficiency with Hotel Finance management systems • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel • Proficiency with Oracle • Proficiency with Hyperion • Knowledge of GAAP • Willingness to travel throughout the Americas, including international travel • Ability to travel up to 50%
