📋 Description

• Prepare technical, financial accounting of premium, claim and reserves based on statement of accounts or bordereaux • Review and analyze reinsurance contracts for adherence to company policies and guidelines • Manage processing and settlement of reinsurance claims • Generate reinsurance reports and conduct analysis to support decision-making • Consult internal stakeholders on Statutory and Reinsurance Accounting expertise and guidance • Develop and maintain relationships with reinsurers • Drive continuous process improvement and standardization • Attend relevant training sessions to maintain current knowledge of systems, processes, and changes • Keep SOP and training guides up to date in collaboration with Captive Account Executives • Perform other duties and special projects as requested

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably Accounting or Finance • Minimum of 3 years of experience in reinsurance accounting, insurance or similar financial area • Proficiency in MS Office, primarily Excel, Outlook, Teams • Skilled at building and maintaining internal and external (carrier) relationships • Strong attention to detail and focus on metrics • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills • Fluent in English • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability and willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions
