📋 Description

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with contract manufacturers across the U.S. • Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing partners to ensure process capability, quality, and compliance with Hyper standards • Lead process audits, supplier evaluations, and production readiness assessments • Develop and maintain production work instructions, inspection procedures, and training materials • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies • Support production start-ups, first article builds, and process validation activities • Analyze manufacturing costs and capital requirements; provide recommendations for cost reduction and investment • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain on process improvements, yield, and reliability initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with emphasis on contract manufacturing environments • Strong understanding of electrical power distribution equipment and manufacturing processes • Experience supporting mission-critical or high-reliability products (data center, industrial, or infrastructure preferred) • Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal teams and external partners • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Ability to travel within the U.S. up to approximately 35%
