📋 Description

• Create, execute, and maintain automated test cases for RESTful web services • Build and maintain functional UI-based automation tests for product front-end and user workflows • Identify issues impacting CI/CD releasability and support a shift-left QA strategy • Design and implement new testing frameworks and improve existing automation systems • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define test coverage, quality gates, and release readiness criteria • Write, execute, and maintain manual test plans and test cases for non-automated features and exploratory testing • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines • Lead root cause analysis for defects and recommend improvements • Mentor the QA team and advocate for quality engineering best practices across scrum teams • Provide periodic off-business-hours on-call support to operations staff • Ensure the quality and reliability of Hypori's cybersecurity SaaS virtual workspace platform

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance/test engineering • 5+ years of experience with an API-based test automation framework such as REST Assured, Playwright, or similar • Demonstrated strengths in test case planning, defect triage, and prioritization of work • Extensive experience designing and executing functional, manual test cases for a SaaS product • Experience building and maintaining service-layer and UI-based test automation frameworks • Expertise in Java, C#, Python, Go, or similar languages required; Java preferred • Experience with Appium-based test automation is a plus • Self-directed and effective at collaborating with multiple small engineering teams • Customer-focused approach to delivering products to market • Willingness to provide periodic, off-business-hours on-call support • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder) • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Highly motivated self-starter with strong integrity, urgency, and results orientation • Capable of managing multiple concurrent and complex software projects • Able to take ambiguous requirements and develop a solid solution
