📋 Description
• Support Iowa’s Multiple Species Inventory and Monitoring (MSIM) program • Collect biological data across different taxa • Work independently and as part of a team • Work outdoors in various, sometimes extreme, weather conditions • Carry field equipment over rough or uneven terrain • Wade through water during survey activities • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, nights, and evenings as needed • Ability to travel overnight for work-related duties when necessary
🎯 Requirements
• Graduated from, currently enrolled in, or on break between semesters of a college program leading to a degree in wildlife ecology, biology, or a closely related natural resource field • At least 18 years of age • Preferred Qualifications: B.S. degree in wildlife ecology, biology, or a closely related natural resource field • Experience with at least one taxonomic group, such as mammals, birds, herptiles, fish, mussels, odonates, butterflies, or plants.
