📋 Description

• Conduct inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and corrective maintenance across wind turbine generator platforms, focusing on structural components and major systems • Provide technical guidance and support to site technicians on maintenance, operation, and repair activities • Conduct End-of-Warranty/Contract inspections, analyze findings, and deliver summary reports to stakeholders • Develop, implement, and support technical documentation, including service bulletins and work instructions • Review, approve, and publish procedures and reference materials for field maintenance and inspections • Investigate component failures and anomalies through field diagnostics, disassembly, inspection, and root cause analysis • Analyze failure trends and prepare reports supporting fleet reliability improvements • Review and assess supplier root cause analyses and corrective action plans • Support internal testing, measurement, and evaluation of corrective solutions • Collaborate with Commercial teams to develop and qualify alternative supplier repair solutions • Evaluate tools, equipment, and emerging technologies to enhance field capabilities • Support operational Stop/Run decisions for wind turbines based on technical assessments • Assist with and support formal training of field technicians on maintenance best practices and procedures • Work closely with Field Operations to identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the wind energy industry • Degree in engineering, math, physics, or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proven organizational and planning abilities, with sound technical judgment and decision-making • Ability to climb wind turbine towers up to 120 meters • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds • Willingness and flexibility to travel within the United States, with approximately 70% travel required • Experience performing inspections and repairs on wind turbine drivetrains, blades, gear boxes, generators, and related components • Hands-on knowledge of Gamesa, GE, and Suzlon platforms • Proficiency in the safe and effective use of electrical and mechanical tools • Strong working knowledge of standard office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email applications • Successful completion of a medical exam, background check, references, drug screen, and verification of legal right to work in the U.S.; credit check may apply in certain roles • Motor Vehicle (MVR) check when regularly using a company vehicle
