• Provide capacity building and compliance assistance to Alaska Native victim services programs regarding DOJ/OJP award conditions • Plan and execute customized assistance activities, share subject matter expertise, and report outcomes • Assist programs with victim services policies and procedures, community needs assessments, strategic plans, and sustainability plans • Support recipients in resolving OJP monitoring issues and implementing corrective actions • Evaluate grantee needs and partner with grantees to implement and track customized assistance plans • Develop trainings, curricula, and resources for Alaska Native audiences • Facilitate webinars, peer learning exchanges, and communities of practice • Assist with strategic planning and review resources, infrastructure, and community capacity • Identify and share culturally responsive, trauma-informed practices, resources, and approaches • Collaborate with grantees, Alaska partners, assistance providers, government clients, subject matter experts, and project partners
• Bachelor's degree in any field • Minimum 5 years' experience supporting American Indian and Alaska Native communities with victim services • Minimum 5 years' experience delivering capacity building and/or compliance assistance to Alaska Native communities • Must be located in Alaska • U.S. citizenship required by federal government contract • Public Trust security clearance required before the start date • Willingness to travel, including to remote Alaska communities if required • Experience supporting Alaska Tribal grant recipients with DOJ/OJP award-condition compliance and documentation • Knowledge of community needs assessments, strategic planning, or program development • Ability to provide input to senior management and a government client • Ability to collaborate across assistance providers, Alaska partners, government clients, subject matter experts, and project partners • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills • Ability to engage audiences effectively in virtual spaces • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment • Demonstrated professionalism, judgment, tact, and diplomacy • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams, plus e-learning, webinar, and digital platforms
