📋 Description

• Work with public housing authorities and HUD Community Planning and Development grantees • Educate grantees and subrecipients on Section 3 and Federal Labor requirements, including Davis-Bacon • Develop and deliver training sessions, conference presentations, workshops, and webinars • Facilitate technical assistance engagements in person or virtually through web-based software • Apply best practices and innovative strategies related to HUD programs • Contribute to the design of tools, drafting of reports, and development of policy guidance • Support community and economic development priorities, including workforce development, job training and employment placement, small business and microenterprise development, and other HUD-aligned activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Public Administration, Planning, Public Policy, Government or a related discipline, or minimum 10 years of professional experience in a similar field • Minimum of 10 years knowledge in HUD programs, specifically understanding fully Section 3 and Davis-Bacon requirements • Demonstrated success developing and delivering trainings, workshops and webinars • Experience with program assessments and evaluation • Experience with facilitation and public speaking to a variety of audiences • A commitment to affordable housing and serving all of those who are under-served • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities • Ability to multi-task with various projects and responsibilities • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) • Previous work with Department of Labor, WIOA, Youth Build, workforce investment boards, and/or job training programs is a plus • Broad knowledge in Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity laws and requirements
