📋 Description

• Lead or support cross-functional groups in identifying business requirements for content modelling and reuse • Navigate changing external and internal environments and lead others through change • Implement R&D’s partnership strategy • Assist with training staff to optimally use technologies • Develop, motivate, and guide teams to success • Work across functions, regions, and cultures in a sponsor-dedicated model • Contribute to the development of treatments that benefit patients worldwide

🎯 Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including clinical development and the prescription drug distribution process • Familiarity with document types used in drug development, including Clinical Protocols, Clinical Study Reports, Investigator Brochures, and Submission Documents • Experience with document development and understanding of the roles of different functions in developing documents • Extensive experience with MS Word • Familiarity with industry standards related to document content • Previous experience with SCM tools is helpful but not required • Demonstrated ability to work across functions, regions, and cultures • Functional-level leadership ability to inspire, motivate, and drive results • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to distill complex issues and ideas into simple, comprehensible terms • Effective team-player skills and ability to engender credibility and confidence • Ability to work in a global ecosystem with a high degree of complexity • Bachelor’s degree or related experience is required • 4+ years of experience as a medical writer or editor in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience • Experience with a variety of software • Familiarity with basic concepts of information storage and retrieval • Strong attention to detail • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work groups • Ability to work independently, take initiative, complete tasks, and meet deadlines • Strong negotiation skills • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and high-level expertise with MS Word • Familiarity with GCP and ICH standards and guidelines • Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
