📋 Description

• Work cross-functionally across Sales, Product, R&D, and Implementation teams • Stand up the current product on customers’ data quickly to prove value within strategic deals • Rapidly prototype near-production-ready solutions when product capabilities do not meet customer needs • Own discovery, technical scoping, architecture, implementation, evaluation, productionization, adoption, and handoff for strategic customer solutions • Work alongside Solutions Consultants and Account Executives on strategic accounts and net-new opportunities • Build, deploy, and evaluate solutions using customer data • Measure adoption, workflow impact, reliability, and time-to-value, then iterate with stakeholders • Engineer production solutions for security, reliability, observability, maintainability, and customer-architecture integration • Partner with Product and R&D to convert validated customer patterns and production evidence into roadmap investments, reusable components, and platform improvements • Develop reusable accelerators from recurring customer needs • Develop and continuously update solution specifications with customers • Evaluate business potential, market needs, competitive differentiation, and functional/technical specifications with Product • Coordinate customer needs, ideas, roadmaps, and visions with Product and Sales organizations

🎯 Requirements

• Customer-facing and commercial ability • Ability to run technical discovery sessions and hold value conversations with technical and business stakeholders • Ability to connect technical solutions to customer outcomes and deal value • Ability to generalize customer solutions into reusable accelerators • Experience with LLM application development, RAG, prompt and context engineering, and agent orchestration • Judgment regarding single versus multi-agent patterns and handling memory and state • Daily use of modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code • Familiarity with enterprise integrations in regulated utility markets • Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS/Smallworld, IBM Maximo/EAM, SAP/Oracle ERP/PPM, and PowerBI/reporting systems • Technical and functional understanding of REST and streaming APIs, authentication patterns, and enterprise systems of record • Engineering strength; domain experience in utilities, energy, transportation, or capital and asset investment planning is a strong plus, not a gate • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed, up to ~50% • Software or data engineering background with experience building and shipping maintainable working software • Fluency in Angular, Python, or a similar language; comfort working in unfamiliar languages and codebases • Understanding of SQL, data modeling, and pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and serving • Strong debugging skills with imperfect customer data in live environments • Production engineering depth in observability, performance, and operating at scale • Prior customer-facing technical work, solutions engineering, forward deployment, technical consulting, or startup experience • Prior experience deploying AI in enterprise or regulated environments
